Do you require ACT or SAT test scores?

Yes, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi requires official ACT or SAT test scores for freshman admission decisions.

Do you super score?

Yes, TAMU-CC encourages all freshman applicants to submit all of their official ACT and SAT scores to the university.

Do you accept the writing portion of the ACT or SAT?

No, we do not consider the writing portion of either test.

Does TAMU-CC offer a TSI test on-campus?

Yes, TAMU-CC offers in-person and virtual TSI tests. Please contact the Office of Academic Testing at 361.825.2334 or atcweb@tamucc.edu for assistance.

What kind of application fee waivers are accepted?

Some students may have their application fee waived based on evidence of financial need. Students will be considered for a waiver if they can provide the Office of Recruitment and Admissions with any one of the following:

• A copy of an approved SAT fee waiver.
• A copy of an approved ACT fee waiver.
• A letter (on official letterhead) from a high school counselor, social worker, or financial aid advisor explaining their financial situation and the reason for needing a waiver.

Fee waivers can be emailed to admiss@tamucc.edu or an admissions counselor. Fee waivers can be faxed to 361.825.5887 or physically mailed to the address below:

My student needs to change their major, what do they do?

Please have the student complete a Change of Major form (prior to enrollment) and email to to admiss@tamucc.edu.
